Coastal Bridge Advisors Set To Formally Reopen Its Doors on June 1st

WESTPORT, CT – April 12, 2021– Coastal Bridge Advisors, an independent registered investment adviser, is pleased to announce it will be formally reopening its office on June 1, 2021.  While the firm had originally moved into their new space in late 2019, the onset of COVID-19 forced the team to work remotely. Following this coming Memorial Day, the rapidly growing firm is excited to reopen its doors on the first floor of 54 Wilton Road. Their custom-built space is a vibrant collection of imagery and bold design.  If you’ve been driving down Wilton Road you’ve probably noticed the firm’s break room, more reminiscent of an upscale restaurant than a traditional office kitchen.

Although new to the space, the team is certainly not new to the Westport scene; the founding partners of Coastal Bridge Advisors, Kevin Burns, Bill Loftus and Jim Pratt-Heaney, have been operating within the town for three decades.  In 2019, the firm sought to identify a new space, one which could accommodate its growth and evolving requirements.  Set adjacent to the Saugatuck River, their new office at 54 Wilton Road, formerly the home of Save the Children, offered an ideal setup as well as opportunities for indoor and outdoor meetings alike.  In addition to a convenient location near the center of town, the newly renovated building provided a chance to create a space customized for the company’s needs.  After spending months designing, then building out the space, the team at Coastal Bridge was excited to move in only to move out once the pandemic arrived.

Founding Partner and Westport native Kevin Burns says, “We are so excited to return to our office.  This has been a challenging year, but moving back into our beautiful space gives us yet another reason to feel good about the future.  Not only are we thrilled for the team, but we look forward to enjoying our new accommodations with our clients.”

The contemporary aesthetic provides a supporting backdrop to the firm’s mantra to “Uncomplicate It” for its clients.  This clean, unadulterated space, includes bold and creative architectural elements which together serve to welcome and encourage engagement with staff and clients alike.

Architect Dan Radman of Radman Architects says, “We are so proud of the space we have designed here in collaboration with the Coastal Bridge Advisors team. Our mission was to create a work environment that takes advantage of the abundance of exterior glazing and views of the river, and accurately mirrors the firm’s unique approach to their business. I think we have accomplished that here.”

Complete with interior and furniture design facilitated by Betsy Gilroy of DeClerq Office Group, the space delivers on its goal to re-envision the stereotypical look and feel of a wealth management firm.  The undercurrent of the space is the firm’s pledge to simplify and enhance.   A. Pappajohn Company served as the general contractor to Coastal Bridge Advisors and helped bring the design to fruition.

The development of 54 Wilton Road was a team effort by developer David Adam Realty and designer Roger Ferris and Partners. Known as Bankside at National Hall, this best in class office building  is part of a larger development which, when completed in the summer of 2022, will include luxury condominiums set on the west bank of the Saugatuck River. In early 2020, at the onset of the pandemic, David Adam Realty, in partnership with Greenfield Partners, successfully sold the property at a record price and was retained by the new ownership to continue managing the asset.
